Courses

Unless otherwise stated, all courses run from 10:00am until 2.00pm at the Trysull Dojo. Students are expected to be signed in and on the mat ready to practice 15 minutes prior to the start of the course. Members should present their Membership Books for signing prior to the start of the class.

Our Gradings are not restricted to our members. Newcomers and members of other organisations are more than welcome to join us.

Would our members please remember that course attendance is a requirement for grading. You should attend at least three courses within the last twelve months in order to qualify to take a grade.

If you wish to grade at one of these courses, you are required to fill out a Grading Application Form (A5 size please ) and present it to your instructor to sign one month prior to the date of the grading. The completed form then must be handed to Jason Williams (Grading Course Officer). There is a grading application form available via the Members tab

5th kyu 30 days of practice

4th kyu 40 days of practice after obtaining 5th kyu

2nd Dan minimum 1 year since first dan, with 200 days of practice

3rd Dan minimum 2 years since 2nd dan, with 300 days of practice

4th Dan minimum 3 years since 3rd dan, with 400 days of practice.
